The People Absorbing Colour painting came to me in a dream where I saw a crowd of tint people milling around in front of a huge brick wall. I felt the idea was too far off the wall for most people so I opted for a Cumbrian landscape which has the same drama attached to it and it is one of my favourite places in the world.
